Leeto

Leeto is a 15-year-old lyricist from Woodbridge, VA set to be the frontrunner of rap’s next generation. With music running through his bloodline thanks to his father being a concert manager, one of his uncles being a musician for more than two decades, and having another uncle who was an A&R for Sony in the 1980s, put simply, Leeto’s built to do this shit. And now, he’s unlocking the next chapter of his journey by traveling the road with Heir Wave Music Group.

Leeto grew up playing both football and lacrosse — the latter of which he still plays now. He also struck up an interest in music by going to his dad’s venue and watching people perform. Over time, he decided to pursue music, with him releasing his first official songs this year.

Leeto’s melodic and heavy music is inspired by artists like Juice WRLD, Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, and many more due to their abilities to express their feelings in inventive ways. He also takes inspiration in Lil Wayne in the way that he doesn’t write — choosing to freestyle each of his songs.

This process led him to “Love Dystopia,” a breakout song that he released earlier this year and led to him signing with Heir Wave Music. His mother facilitated a meeting with a family friend who then was able to get it to Pusha-T who, after hearing it, knew that Leeto was a potential star. They linked up, finalized an agreement, and the rest is history.

Now, Leeto is working on his debut EP to leave a lasting impression on not only Virginia’s rap scene, but the wider music industry itself. He wants fans to know about him that he’s just a normal kid from the suburbs and that there’s no difference between them. If he can do it, you can too.
